Community Guidelines

Mekora is a dating app. Normal, tasteful photos and videos of yourself belong here.

• Clear photos of your face — selfies, portraits, candids.
• Full-body, beach, gym, and swimwear shots that would be fine on a public social feed.
• Short videos introducing yourself, your interests, or your day.
• Group photos where it's obvious which person is you.
• Playful, flirty captions and prompts about what you're looking for.

These are removed on sight and can get an account suspended or banned.

• Nudity, sexually explicit imagery, or sexual solicitation.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeted insults.
• Scams — fake accounts, catfishing, crypto pitches, off-platform payment requests, phishing links.
• Illegal content, violence, weapons for sale, drug sales, or self-harm promotion.
• Any content involving minors — reported immediately to authorities.
• Sharing someone else's private photos, contact info, or location without consent.

Every upload is checked before it reaches the community, and again if someone reports it.

• Automated review scans new photos and videos for nudity, weapons, and other policy breaks.
• Suspicious accounts (bots, mass-messaging, repeat offenders) are flagged for human review.
• Reported posts are reviewed by our safety team within 24 hours.
• Confirmed violations result in content removal, warnings, feature limits, or a permanent ban.
• We cooperate with law enforcement when the law requires it (for example, CSAM).

If you see a post or profile that breaks these rules, tell us — reports are anonymous.

• Tap the ••• menu on any profile or message → Report this profile / message.
• Pick the reason that fits best (nudity, harassment, scam, underage, and so on).
• We take it from there. You'll see fewer posts like it while we review.

Mekora follows Apple App Store and Google Play policies for user-generated content.

• A clear method for users to flag objectionable content (in-app report on every post).
• A clear method to block abusive users.
• Published, enforced community guidelines (this page).
• Action on reports within 24 hours, including content removal and account action where needed.
• Age-gate at sign-up — Mekora is 18+.
