No platform can remove every risk from dating. What we can do is give you real tools, clear rules, and honest information about how each of them works.

• You choose who reaches you

  Nobody can message you until you accept their Add Friend request, so conversations only start when both people want them to.

• Private by default

  Mekora never shows your address or coordinates, and your phone number is never shown on your profile. You decide what you share.

• Blocking

  Blocking is instant and mutual: a blocked member disappears from your Discover, requests and chats, and cannot contact you again.

• Reporting

  Any profile or message can be reported. Reports reach the Mekora team, and accounts that break our Community Guidelines can be restricted or removed.

Practical tips before you meet

• Keep the first conversation inside Mekora — there is no need to share your number or socials early.
• Take your time. There is no rush to move to another app or to meet in person.
• Meet in a public place for the first date and arrange your own transport there and back.
• Tell a friend where you are going and when you expect to be back.
• Trust your instincts. If something feels off, you can leave at any time — and report afterwards.
